Favorite White Blends that don't defer your retirement

Summer is just over half over here in overly-sunny vegas and more than our fair share of whites and roses have been enjoyed. I'm very partial to NZ savvy Bs but have become more interested in the blended whites this year.

Here's my uber-short list;

-Evolution by Sokol Blosser
-Cali White by Menage a Trois
-Woody White by BR Cohn

Any thoughts/suggestions/donations?

      Thanks for the reply. I'll try them all if I can find them.

        I quite like "Gentil" for the price. Good call.

      2. In addition to the previous suggestions, the Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc-Viognier ($12), Caymus's Conundrum ($18 at Costco), Bennett Lane's White Maximus ($13-$24), Eberle Cotes du Rhone Blanc (Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier; $18), etc. If you like the Rhone grapes (I love them), you can simply look for a white Rhone blend.

          Thanks for the suggestions Maria, I love all things Rhone. For reds, GSMs are my fave.

            I'd throw the 2010 Tablas Creek Patelin into the mix, 50% Grenache Blanc, 33% Viognier, 10% Roussanne, and 7% Marsanne.

            +1 on the Pine Ridge

              Meant to add Barrel 27 2009 High on the Hog, 39% Grenache Blanc, 36% Viognier, 20% Roussanne, 5% Marsanne.

          2. Love Hugel's Gentil, also. Butmy favorite (although available in limited quantities) is Vision Cellars White blend... a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. From the winery: www.visioncellars.com

            1. Treana White Blend (Viognier/Roussane) $23 or less:

                Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc-Viognier.....great bargain.

              2. In addition to some of the wines already mentioned, I would add Holly's Hill
                Patriarche Blanc (60% roussanne, 40% viognier) and Unti's Cuvee Blanc
                (50% genache blanc, with some picpoul and vermentino).
