Velvet Cactus in Lakeview?

Has anyone been there? I was at Mondo last night and saw the pretty lights and outdoor atmosphere. It looked intriguing. Is the food any good?

    the food is not very good. El Gato Negro is a much better option for food and drink, but lacks the cool space the Velvet Cactus is in

      Only thing good is the patio is nice to sit outside - but not right now, its too hot - the inside is cramped and feels like you're sitting in a garage - food was not good, but maybe that will improve as time passes and the kitchen staff get more proficient

      I have heard the food is mediocre at best. We tried to go there last time we were in town and it was an hour wait. Ended up at Mondo. After we left Mondo we stopped by Velvet Cactus and had a margarita. It may have been the worst margarita I have ever had. I have yet to hear anyone say the food is outstnding.
