coconut milk powder

Does anyone know where I can get coconut milk powder in Montreal? I am talking about a powder that you add water to in order to get coconut milk. I don't mean coconut flour.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

They have it at P.A. on Fort/Ste. Catherine in the sugar/flour aisle it's Maggi (from Nestle) and retails for around $3.00 a box.
I stopped buying it because I was using it in everything. Great in smoothies, awesome in oatmeal.. mixed-in with some yogurt... I had a "problem"!

      2. It's much more common then you think. They have it at every large supermarket you just have to know where to look for it.

IGA, Metro and the likes will have the packets (i cannot remember the name of the brand, the one that is everywhere with Asian something...) which have oil and paste mixes for various asian dishes. There is a blue packet for coconut powder.

Otherwise, you can go to any asian market and they will have it cheaper.

I think Thai Kitchen is the most common brand, but it is indeed widely available in supermarkets.

AHA! found the name od the brand:
"Asian Home Gourmet". They run about 1-2$ a packet.

Although, i'm sure that wherever you find these packets, you'll find other brands near it. This is simply one i've used before and was decent.
