I do like this place though I've mixed experiences with the food. The burger I ordered, I forget which one, was severely overcooked to the point that I could not distinguish the quality of meat. But the sweet potato fries were GREAT, really some of the better ones I've had in recent memory. Their plates are generally good as well, though if you get something with a "perfect egg", you should eat it quickly otherwise it'll be overcooked, like that. But in general, I like this place a lot.
I just went there with a friend. This is a tremendous find for the Burger Hounds and the Dive Hounds and the Redondo Hounds.
The burgers are made with freshly ground meat. Extremely juicy, a perfect middle. The place has a korean/japanese fusion feel, with a lot of asian-mayo dipping sauces to choose from. The fries are great, and packaged in the proper conical-paper outfit. Prices are low for the quality. 6.75 for a regular burger.
The heart-attack choice is the Napoleon -- 1/2 pound meat, bacon, gruyere, cheddar, caramelized onions, arugula topped with braised short rib and fried egg -- with a side of truffle-parmesan fries -- 13.75
Also, pan roasted edamameme, korean quesadillas, pulled pork sandwiches, soft shell crab sammies. Very promising!
