Baby Friendly Restaurants in Yonge and Sheppard Area for Saturday Night Dinner?

Hi,

My wife and I are dining with a couple and their baby on Saturday night and so they want to stay in their area which is Yonge and Sheppard. I am particularly interested in certain ethnic suggestions (chinese, japanese, vietnamese, thai, korean)

My go to in the area is often Asian Legends and I don't get to that area very often so I'd be very interested in others opinions in the area.

Thanks

I'm jumping in. I've dined at Tuyen a few times over the last 8 years. The last time I was there, the food was roughly equivalent to Spring Rolls.

If I'm in the mood for economical sushi or bento boxes, I like Ichiban Fish House on Spring Garden, which would be baby-friendly enough.

I realize Italian falls outside your favoured cuisines, but if Italian is an option, I would think Mezza Notte is also baby-friendly. Decent Italian food.

I like the food at Mot Na Son, but I've not been for dinner, so I'm not sure how many families dine there. Can't imagine it being baby-unfriendly, but the space might get crowded and a little smoky from the BBQing taking place.

I don' t have any info for you about a specific restaurant in that area, but something that might help you to know is that ALL Chinese restaurants are baby friendly, so should you choose anything in this category, it's a go! Family is very important to the Chinese and most other Asian cultures and children are never excluded from anything. These restaurants tend to be very casual and somewhat noisy too, so baby will blend in just fine!
