Mangos from Pakistan have arrived?

I'd try calling Patel Bros on Devon - if I'm not mistaken, they sell them when they come in. Rumor is that this year, the fruits are not as great as in years past.

This is the very first time that Pakistani mangoes have made it into the USA (different variety). You are probably thinking of Indian mangoes, which have been imported into the US for the last few summers now. I believe that Patel Brothers in NYC is NOT carrying them.

Here's a clue:
"Jaidev Sharma, president of the Chicago-based ZZ Group, the country's largest importer of Indian mangoes, said he had 200 orders for the Pakistani mangoes but could fulfill only two-thirds of that."

So I suppose wherever ZZ Group distributes to?

My friends from India have told me about these mangos for many years, and as a mango lover I have been very eager to try one. They are supposed to be so wonderful.

I was not planning to buy a case (!), but I thought some place might be selling them one at a time. That I would do!

If anyone tries one, let us know.
