Brunch on way to Santa Ynez wine tasting recs.?

Need some advice. We will be heading up to SY for a day of wine tasting. We were thinking of stopping for brunch in Santa Barbara. Then we thought, we never have been to Cold Spring Tavern, maybe we should stop there instead. In SB we were thinking of either Stella Mare's, Tupelo Junction or Cajun Kitchen. Any advice?

For dinner, we have been to Trattoria Grappolo and we like it. Should we try Red Barn, instead?
Thank you!

There are good choices now in Solvang as well, but Cold Springs Tavern is such a wonderful stop I would go there if you are on the way. I would put Grappolo on the top of the list, but right under the really incredible Ballard Inn Restaurant which is down the road a bit from Los Olivos.

RED BARN! It isn't as foo-foo as Grappolo, but the classic food will make you glad you went. Steaks- blue cheese dressing- roasted garlic- EXCLEENT CHEESECAKE- good cocktails- make this Valley staple worth checking out!

What community is Red Barn in? The one shown to the right is in Sonora (which I don't think is right).

The Red Barn is on the corner of Sagunto and Edison in Santa Ynez. 2 weeks ago we sat on the covered patio- enjoying the warm gorgeous weather...cheeseburger & a cold Blue Moon- heaven!

Thanks! We have family in Santa Maria and I'm compiling a list of interesting eateries for myself (Adding the correct link to Red Barn Steak House; don't know how to remove the incorrect one in the list to the right.).

My vote would be Stella Mare's. Lovely setting and terrific brunch items. If you like mussels you have to order the moules frites. I could bathe in the broth!
