Annual Mushroom Festival - Kennett Square (9/10-11)
I just heard about this from a friend of mine and had already been planning on heading out to K. Square on Saturday 9/10. I see that Garces and Sbraga will be out there that weekend also. Is it worth going to and skipping having dinner out there? I was planning on going to Enzo's or La Pena with family, but might skip it to go to the festival instead. Any thoughts?

Let me echo Cindy...the festival is definitely worth it! Alas, I will be in Greece this year (yeah I know.tough) but it is one of those small-town things that has become a huge success..for good reason! It is also the weekend for the Chadds Ford days.............also a hit...and top it off with some wine under the stars at Chaddsford Winery and it can become an entire weekend in itself!

Since Enzo's is located right in the middle of the festival area, you can decide where to satisfy your appetites once you get there. The m'room festival is a great, small-town event, made more impressive by the appearance of celebrity chefs. Definitely worth visiting!
