Lunch in Conshy - During the Week

mkertello Aug 16, 2011 07:33 PM

I have a challenge for my fellow CHers:

While I have lived in the greater Conshohocken area for the last 7 years, this is the first time I'll be working there. (I'm at Five Tower). Looking for some interesting places - no limitations in terms of cuisine, under 2 categories - order out/pick up in a very short drive (<5-7 minutes) and eat in with interesting menu items and solid lunch service.

Thanks for all your help!

El Limon (mexican taquiera) and Changmai (thai) are the best bets for lunch.

+1 for El Limon, though it can be a bit slow at times during the height of lunch.

Blackfish does a good burger for a high end lunch along with some nice salads.

Bagataway has a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. They definitely serve quickly.

In good weather Coyote Grill is a nice place to sit outside for Mexican (or after work for a marguarita.)

Dosa Hut on Ridge Pike in Eagleville (5-10 minutes from Conshy) is good for South Indian food.

Nippers ten minutes away in Norristown has some nice pizza, and some decent lunch specials.

Lenny's Deli does a good roast pork and a good hoagie. Frank and Eddies is good too.

Isabella has a good lunch menu.

Blackfish. And opt for the fish course of the day.You get a course worthy of a world class restaurant for $15 or so. Get a side (fries, light crispy onion rings) or soup to go with it and you've got a great meal.
Burger and other options are great, but I think a healthy and delicious fish course trumps them.
