Taiwanese Okra?

Just bought this giant "okra" that seems more like an American eggplant or an elongated squash.

Suggestions for how to prepare it?

    You bought a loofah. I've never cooked it but I've eaten it simmered with pork belly.

      I believe your diagnosis was spot on, doctor.

      I stir-fried it with scallops and chives in black bean sauce.

      Still looking for other suggestions, recipes ...

      Will start a different thread calling it a loofah.
