Ottawa Restaurants-Labour Day weekend

Suggestions for all kinds of restaurants please--breakfast lunch and dinner--ethnic, urban, cheap to moderately expensive -2 adults and a 18 yr old, staying 4 days staying at downtown hotel with car

        it was very good, especially the dumplings....i also enjoyed domus which is across the street from sweetgrass....

    1. Unfortunately, Sweetgrass is closed - according to a blog by a local food writer, the future is uncertain as the owners are looking for investors.

      That area of Ottawa is the ByWard Market - lots of good restos there: Domus, Play, Navarra, Chez Lucien, French Baker (breakfast), Benny's Bistro.

      West of the downtown core, I really like Wellington Gastropub.
