what are the best places for dinner and lunch in Islamorada

I don't know if you're saying in a hotel in Islamorada but I do hope it's not the Holiday Isle Resorts and Marina.
I stayed a night here on spec on the way down to Key West and I can honestly say it's the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - simply dreadful in almost every single respect.
Filthy and unsafe with rude staff and terrible amenities.
Unsurprisingly it registers last in TA's hotel rankings.

Ma's Fish Camp. Everything was great. It is more of a "chowish" place I think - not on the water. If you want to dine on the water, then Morada Bay.
