folks
What's the name of the place off 28th in a little strip mall with killer breakfasts? I remember a waiter on roller skates and amazing huevos...
Thanks

Maybe Dot's Diner? Don't know about roller skates, but it is in a little strip mall on 28th. Since you said "off 28th" maybe you're thinking of the Village Coffee Shop on Folsom?
Also just off 28th is the Buff, which has really good breakfasts, but isn't in a strip mall.

re: LurkerDan
The waitrons at the long-gone L.A. Diner used to cruise around on roller skates. It wasn't in a strip mall either but rather was a free-standing diner. Too bad it was demolished because that retro-'40s look is so "in" these days. It was on the east side on 28th St around Walnut.

re: BlueOx
It's not my *favorite* breakfast place, but yeah, they still do very good breakfasts, with (I think) $1 bloodys.
Favorite: Lucile's
2nd: Walnut Cafe
3rd: BuffHave not been to Tangerine, but I have a feeling they may provide some competition for my list. Note that this is a Boulder list, if I were adding other Colorado locations in, the Butterhorn in Frisco and the Meeting Place in Durango (now called the College Drive Cafe, but same food) would push all but Lucile's off the list.
