The Boynton (opp. Sole Proprietor in Worcester) also does good fried clams, fish & chips, etc. and offers a lot of gluten-free items, even gluten-free beer and pizza. Not much in North Smithfield, although Lindy's Tavern and The Village Haven (next to each other on School Street) offer good fried clams, scallops, etc. Same for Uncle Ronnie's on Rt. 102, near the famous Wright's (chicken) Farm restaurant, not to be confused with the excellent Wright's Dairy Farm on Woonsocket Hill Road off Great Road (Rt. 146A) in North Smithfield. They have a very good and popular bakery, showcased on Food Network for their old-fashioned hermit cookies. Cheers!

Well, in Worcester there are no clam shacks to speak of. Alot of folks like the Sole Proprietor, but I am not one of them. Also, there is Coral Seafood, which is also pretty average. The best fish to be had is sushi at either Baba or Haiku. Baba rivals the best you'll find in Boston for sure. For terrific pizza, try the Corner Grille on Pleasant St. Ultra thin, fresh, interesting ingredients. Bocado is fun for tapas. Also, you may want to check out the Boulevard Diner on Shrewsbury Street. Original Worcester diner car, still using the original iceboxes. Awesome breakfast there, open 24 hrs. Those are among my favorites......
