Ramen Parlor

  • 3

Saw an ad in a Japanese newspaper that Ramen Parlor will be "opening soon." The note said that it's another shop from the Santa folks. In San Mateo, one block from Ramen Dojo.

Buried in another thread, "shanghaikid" posted:

tried the pork flavoring with lobster oil ramen(9.50)
-toppings not the traditional ones but bacon bits, mushrooms, onions, etc. traditional ones are extras.
-grilled chicken leg meat with green onions(2.25)
only onions were flavorful. chicken bland.
*ramen chewy and sparse. would consider this hybrid spicy ramen in the middle of the pack.

note: only 3 kinds ramen offered: soy, pork flavoring, and the pork flavoring with lobster oil. (off the top of my head. no notes).

Most ramen shops in San Mateo are closed on Tuesday (except Ajisen).
So don't try to visit today.
