Help with Dressing

I'm making this salad for dinner tonight.
Red potatoes sprinkled with wine vinegar while hot
Chick pieces, cubed and sauteed
Black olives, halved
Green onion, chopped
Marinated artichoke hearts, quartered
Basil, fresh and chopped as garnish
Salt, pepper, garlic (powdered)
Mixed together and served at room temp

Recipe suggested a flavored mayo. What flavor? I have a bunch of limes and Meyer lemons.

    1. If it were me, I would skip the mayo, and just squeeze some lemon juice over the mixture. Between the wine vinegar and oil from the marinated artichoke hearts, plus the saltiness from the olives, etc. I don't think it needs much else.

        Thanks rox and pes. I just mixed up a lime/Cholula/mayo dressing. Tastes great so hope it works on the salad.
