Baklava in Charlotte NC

Can anyone recommend a place where I can get baklava? I am hoping to buy some for a friend birthday present. I know that I can probably make it just as easy as buying it but right now I just don't have the time with moving and many impending trips. Thanks in advance!

I always thought the baklava at the Landmark was delicious (not sure if it's made in-house) and it used to be a substantial piece. I haven't been in a while though.

I don't think I saw any baklava the time I went to the Landmark which was about 2 months ago. But I will definitely check it out.

The Greek Isles on Bland St has Baklava. Also, the greek festival tn Sept. will be selling it.

I wish I could wait until the Greek festival but the birthday trip is coming up before the Greek festival. We are celebrating 2 birthday boys during Labor day weekend.

I think Lebanese baklava is the best...if you're in South Charlotte try Sultan Kabob House, or in East Charlotte try Cedarland.

Kabob Grille usually has it as well.

(I'd also like to add I have no idea who actually makes their own...I imagine Cedarland would but who knows, it could all be shipped in)

try the little village near gateway. It's the best place to get a gyro in Charlotte. If the don't have them there I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.
