Burbank "India's Tandoori"; any recent thoughts?
I still remember this place from twenty or so years ago, when it was pretty much an "India's Oven" clone, right down to the font and order of the dishes on the menu; it then went WAY downhill, and then closed for quite a while.
Now I see it's re-opened, and seems to be doing some business.
Assuming that I'm going to be in the greater Burbank area this PM, and assuming I go with the understanding that it's BURBANK, not Artesia, how is it?
Been there a couple of times recently.
The usual fare seems decent, i.e. tikka marsala, vegetable samosa, paneer dishes etc.
Garlic basil naan seems to be pretty good.
Don't order the Tandoori shrimp/prawn. Probably my fault for even trying it.
It was rubbery and flavorless... almost sent it back and I never send stuff back.
The other tables seem to enjoy the tandoori chicken though so I'm sure that's fine.
