Bar menus in Yountville area???

My husband are staying in Yountville nights of 8/26 and 8/27 for a wedding in Glen Ellen area. We're looking for a nice place to have a drink and order from a bar menu after an early rehearsal dinner on Friday night. We'll be leaving Glen Ellen around 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. and heading back to Yountville. Bar at Bouchon was recommended to us. Wondering if they take reservations for the bar or other suggestions in Yountville or between Glen Ellen and Yountville. Thanks in advance. New to CH.

Redd has a great bar menu, especially the pork belly buns. It can get pretty busy though, and I'm not sure if they take reservations for the bar. I don't know if the bar at Bouchon has it's own menu or if it just lets you order off the regular menu. Between the two, I would go with Redd.

I covered the bar menu at Redd last week with some other local chefs. Definitely the strongest bar menu in Yountville. Hamachi, pork buns and chicken wings are all staples.

Thanks, Piperdown and Thirsty. Redd sounds perfect. Redd was on our list for Yountville anyway, but having a "full" dinner wasn't an option b/c of the wedding. I'll call about reservations.

Redd is great and I may be to late with this but there is another wonderful choice for a bar menu. Just 10 minutes north in St. Helena, Terra now has a bar area with a dedicated menu that is wonderful.
