Romantic Waterfront Restaurant in Providence Area?

Mum and Dad (in Cumberland) are looking for a romantic waterfront restaurant for a special dinner. Any suggestions? Newport, So. County, et al are out......(for this occasion anyway). Many thanks!

Depends on how much water your will settle for. Cafe Nuovo, Waterman Grille come to mind but neither has an ocean view, just the river or bay.

OP, which is more important, the view (of the bay/river, since there are no ocean views) or the food? Might help us reco some more spots.

It's really sad how there's virtually no good waterfront dining anywhere in the "Ocean State."
