40th Bday - Estadio, Eola, or Bibianna?

I left DC about 18mo ago, and will be back for my 40th birthday in two weeks. I'm planning a dinner with 6 friends, and would like to go to a new restaurant (for me). I want something fun (but not too crazy - I'm 40 after all) with good cocktails and great food, and ideally good vegetarian options.

So far, after reading the board, I'm thinking Estadio, Eola, or Bibianna. Any thoughts?

Estadio is a great choice if you don't might something a little loud and energetic. If you are looking for something chic but a little more subdued (but still with a good vibe) I would go to Bibianna (you can also make a special request for the table behind the beaded curtain thingy so it's a little more private without being a private room).

Either way you'll have an excellent meal. The vegetarians might be able to find more to eat at Bibianna.

I had dinner at Bibiana a couple of weeks ago. When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation on a Thurs., the place was packed and really, really loud. It gradually started clearing out. We were the last to leave about 9:30 or 10:00. If you prefer a quite space with great food, Bibiana would work - as long as you don't arrive before 8:00 or so.

Estadio has plenty of terrific vegetarian options but they don't take reservations after 6:00 pm which may be a dealbreaker. Bibiana is also very good.

All great ideas. I don't envy you that decision. I'd maybe throw in Graffiato. Bibiana will be quieter, if that's a concern.

I loved Graffiato but I think it could be challenging with a group of 6. It's very, very loud (even upstairs). I was at a table with 2 other people and we had to speak with raised voices.

Still the vote is stellar! :)
