Lagasse and Acheson new Top Chef judges

Unfortunately this probably means alot less of Bourdain, but I guess with his new show in development at Travel Channel he probably doesn't have the time. Hopefully Hugh will be as quirky as he was on Top Chef Masters.

It also makes it 2 Canadians on the judging panel (along with Gail)

    I imagine we are going to get a dose of love - Tim Love that is, along with some other chefs from Texas. If they are covering 3 cities during the series, they should have a food truck competition and make them drive - saves on airfare.

      I am not of fan of Bourdain and loved Hugh on TCM, so I am excited about this news!

        Will miss Bourdain a lot, but I missed him a lot last season when he was supposed to be a regular judge and then disappeared. I love his commentary, both on TV and in his blog.

        Based on what I saw of Acheson on TCM, this could be a good fit.

          I can't wait for the new season... yeah... I will be missing Bourdain, and what about Eric Ripert? wonder if he'll be on at all.
