Upstate Foodie Fest ~ Greenville SC and environs

Starts Friday Aug 12 and ends Sunday Aug 21. Eleven restaurants participating; all have $30 prix fixe menus.

I'm familar with most of the restaurants, but have never heard of Plaid Pelican and it's not mentioned on this board. Has anybody eaten there?

Awesome seafood, creative entrees and appetisers, also very good steaks.

I really like PP. I have been a few times and really enjoyed it. They are also working the "wine side" of the business now and doing very good at it.

I ate there when it was at their old location off Stallings . Good solid seafood, but haven't been to the new place.
