Suggestions for a 30th Bday Party Restaurant?

Hello, my friend is turning 30 in a few weeks and I'm trying to find a fun, interesting restaurant in Boston/Cambridge/Somerville that would be great for a crowd of 10-12. Veggie options a must.

Any type of cuisine would be great, as long as its mid-priced and a good place to have a leisurely, fun evening.

Thanks!

when I hear Veggie Option, I think of Oleana.

The Lava Lounge at East Coast Grill would be perfect. Not sure, though, that they'd let you reserve it on a Fri or Sat night.

Maybe Posto in Somerville? Reasonably priced and definitely veggie-friendly, plus they have a semi-private back room that a group of 12 is probably big enough to use. My sister-in-law had her 30th birthday party there last summer for a group of about 15 and it was great: she did a set menu that included appetizers, salads, and a variety of pizza and pasta that was I think about 30pp (drinks not included), but you could also just order of the regular menu.

I'd second this. And if you want something really special, contact them about their pig roast -- perfect for a group your size, but not great for vegetarians.
