Need Italian or American restaurant recommendation for a group of 20 - 25.

We are in charge of finding a restaurant for approximately 20 - 25 people for a family reunion dinner on a Saturday in December. Seems like a private room would be best...but some restaurants can section off a part of their space for a group as large as this.

Any recommendations? We are open to any section in Manhattan.

  1. How much are you willing to spend per person? Do you have a rough budget for food, before gratuity, tip, and wine/drinks?

Ahhh...good question. I'd like to limit it to $100 per person including tax and tip - for food only. Wine/drinks can be extra on top of that.

Le Zie, which has a nice private room upstairs that would meet your needs, easily fits your budget and is quite tasty.

Thank you for the recommendation. This looks like a really cute looks good and space looks great. We sent them an email for more information.

    2. Carmine's (UWS) can certainly handle 20-25 people, and you won't spend $100/person.

They have a $60 and a $75 group dining option before tax, tip and drinks. Sounds great...and a separate space for up to 30 people. I know i can count on the food at Lupa as well. A few friends have been recently and have really enjoyed it.
