lobster or crab by the water!

Any chance to get a lobster or crab dinner on the waterfront in Halifax, St John's (NB) or PEI? Thank you!

Thank you for all your suggestions. I will try to check all those outlets out on my trip.

You might want to try So'Wester in Peggy's Cove. It's about 25 minutes south of Halifax. So'Wester is very tourist looking but has amazing lobster dinners, mussels and seafood soup. And it sits upon a huge rock overlooking the water.

In Halifax, the only sit-down restaurant i know of with a view of the water where you can get a lobster dinner is Salty's. Murphys on the Water probably does too, but it is a tourist trap.

If you want a lobster roll, Battered Fish on the waterfront has one.

If you want a great fish menu, go to Wharfraps in Eastern Passage a location that is part of the Halifax Regional Municipality. It's right on the ocean, fishing vessels are tied up beside the Restaurant. It's small but homey and did I mention their fish menu. Been a number of times but unfortunately tonights visit put 6 of us in their upstair locale. They have a piano up there that plays an electronic repetoire, much TOO LOUDLY. So if you wish to talk with one another, stay downstairs. A surly waitress, who dislikes customers, ensures the piano sound is not lowered, fortunately we had a very pleasant person serving us. The food will bring us back again, but we'll stay downstairs.
