Dill seed for celery seed?

I'm making a sweet pickle relish and just realized that I'm out of celery seed. Should I leave it out? OR substitute it with dill seed or another substitute? OR should I wait until I can get some celery seed?

Here's the recipe (it's from the Ball canning book, but I found it online also):
• 4 cups cucumbers, deseeded and chopped
• 2 cups onions, chopped
• 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
• 1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
• 1/4 cup kosher salt
• 3 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 cups cider vinegar
• 1 tablespoon celery seed
• 1 tablespoon mustard seeds

  1. Dill seed should work I think...or a smaller amount of caraway seed...maybe 1/2 tsp....cautious about caraway, tho....
