Where would you go?
Hi all,
I'm looking for some ideas. Somehow, I became in charge of organizing a wine dinner for about 10 people in a few weeks. We will all be bringing our own wine so unlimited corkage at a reasonable rate (up to $25/bottle is fine) is essential, so is the ability to accommodate a table of ten off the regular menu. I would suggest Piperade to the group, but that is where they just went. I called Aziza and they have not gotten back.
I haven't been to Fringale or A16 in a while but I'm thinking those might be good back-ups. Any recent news on either? Also, any other suggestions would be helpful. (That is the price range I'm thinking, by the way... apps in the low teens, mains in the twenties.)

I went to a wine dinner organized by friends at Indigo a few years ago and it was great! I believe there's no corkage. The chef liked her sample of one of the top wines there.

I organized one at One Market a few years ago. At the time, they charged corkage of $20 per person (not per bottle),

You might check with Incanto on Church. They're wine friendly and have a private room in that should be good for that number of people.
