An Italian dinner for one.

Will be in LV next week and will be alone. Returning to a faves, Delmonico's for the ribeye, and Bouchon where I love eating at the bar. Ordinarily, my 3rd (last) dinner would be at Rosemary's, but... My next choice would be Todd's which is unfortunately closed. Where is a good place to eat at a bar or chef's counter? I've been to L'Atelier which was good, but not good enough to return. I'm thinking maybe Italian (not Scarpetta we have that at home)...or something else? Where would be another good place to eat solo?

Stratta is a nice choice. I've only been once, but really enjoyed it.

In Las Vegas, just about all of the Strip Italian restaurants have terrific bar seating, and Stratta is certainly on that list. We also like the bar ambience and service at Circo (Bellagio), and the food at Nove (Palms) continues to get better and better in a vibrant environment, with chef Geno Bernardo doing a terrific job of sourcing locally, which is enabling him to get creative with his menu offerings.

Car? Bootlegger's Bistro. No? That's a tough one. Maybe Rao's, for ridiculously over-priced, but yet competently-prepared, standard cliche dishes.
