Good restaurant for group of 8?

Hi -- need to plan a bachelorette weekend for 8 girls in their early 30s. Looking for some restaurant recommendations -- fun, good food, nothing stuffy or sedate. But nothing cheesy either -- we are not a "dress the bride up in a veil and make her lick whipped cream off dudes' necks" type crew.

Not sure you could find the 'whipped cream off a dude's neck' special anywhere around here even if you were interested. Would you care to give us a little more context, however? What sort of food (other than 'fun, good') might you be interested in? What's your budget like? What part of town are you going to be in? What day of the week is this happening? What time? It's going to be difficult for any of us to give you any advice without some of those basics.

How about a lunch or dinner cruise around Lady Bird Lake? You can meet early for drinks and apps at the Hyatt, then walk down the stairs to Capital Cruises and eat while your captain shows you the sites. The Hyatt does the catering for these events, and you may bring your own wine or drinks.

Maybe if you cuold get them to seat you at a "real" table instead of the benches.

What about upstairs @ Cover 3? Yeah, it's billed as a sports bar but I seldom get that vibe. I'd pick it for mine.
