Muskegon, MI?

Hi everybody!

We're going to be in Muskegon for three days, two nights. Any dining recommendations?

We're mostly vegetarians (sushi is the exception). So ,no steak houses or rib shacks. Otherwise, we are pretty open minded.

Thanks in advance!

We'll be in Muskegon this weekend ourselves. I was eyeing up Mia & Grace, which is described as a farm to table restaurant. I haven't been there, but in researching Muskegon restaurants, this came up consistently as recommended, along with the two you already mentioned.

Grand Haven is close, it seems like there would be something good there? I can't recall...

Note: Heads up - the menu on their website is a Sample menu, not the current menu. Also, they are not open Sundays or Mondays.

I'm not privy to any, IG, but a good buddy of mine lives there, and I could ask him for some ideas if you'd like. In fairness, though, he's a man's man, and "vegetarian" might be akin to "communism" for him, so he might not be any help that way.

      I can ask, though.

That'd be great if it's no trouble, boagman. I did see the recommendation for the Hearthstone Bistro, which looks promising, and Fricano's pizza (sounds like you need to tell them to cook it "crispy" since it's so thin?). We'll be leaving the morning of the third day, so more like 2.5 days. So two dinners are fine with us, now we just need lunches and breakfasts.

IF there is another town on the lake with more chowish tendencies, of course, speak up! We're just headed out for a quick mini-vacation.
