Family flying into town from Fort MacMurray to take in a weekend of the Blue Jays. Would like to take them for brunch somewhere great that's easy for them to get to the Dome. Please don't say Cora's (YUCK). Niagara Street Cafe is near me and I love it, but always interested in something new. 4 adults and a 10 year old.

  1. Beast or Le Select would be good choices!

That was exactly what I was going to post minus 2 exclamation marks.

      Go Jays!

I have a problem with the exclamation marks! ;-)

Beast has earned them. Their brunch is pretty wicked!

    2. I hope you are talking about next weekend cuz they are in Baltimore this weekend...

      1. Marben would also be a good option - they use all local and fresh ingredients - also a 5 minute walk from the dome.

        1. What kinda food do your guests like, I mean, Fort MacMurray is a very blue collar town. By that I mean they may be more comfortable with steak or burgers or pub food, nothing too fancy. Im just saying that cuz im a blue collar guy myself and If I were to go to another big city, Id love to try the best burger they have something, or if its a special occasion go to a nice steak house.

I guess brunch is a bit different, but Id imagine some kind of buffet style would be great for them. I cant think of any specific to recommend but im sure others can!

Let us know what they might be interested in!
