Is this what you are looking for.....or some quality beef jerky?

    http://www.hormelfoods.com/brands/hor...

Using the product locator in the link......typing *dried beef* in the search box gives 16 possibilities within 10 miles of Fair Lawn....including Stop & Shop./

I know it does! Yet, I've gone to four places to no avail! I wonder how long ago that was updated. Thanks for the link however. And, indeed it is for making SOP.

The Paramus ShorRite Store has Hormel Dried Beef in a 2.5 ounce jar for $2.29. It's in Aisle 12 where the Canned Meats are displayed.

Piast in Garfield makes a great beef jerky (and a whole bunch of other great stuff), but I'm not sure if they can/will do chipped beef. Maybe they can do it on request?

Former Bergen County resident here- I have no suggestions for a fresh/quality source, but you could still get the old standby Hormel in a little jar at most supermarket chains last time I checked. Adequate for creaming or for 60s style chive creamcheese roll-ups...

ah the old S.O.S, my father used to by it at kings. I will not go near the stuff.
