Merry Table Pleasant Surprise

Tried Merry Table in Old Port and loved it. Crepes dominate the menu but they also offer salads and a few entrees like salmon plus some specials. The crepes truely shine. I had the shrimp with swiss cheese and pesto -heavenly! D H had salmon crepe and daughter had smoked salmon . All were delicious and served with side salad of fresh field greens perfectly dressed. For dessert we shares a luscious warm banana and nutella crepe-yum! Service was a little slow but we were not in a rush so enjoyed the slow pace - very French! The room is long and narrow with a casual setting and a handful of tables outside on Wharf St. We will definitely return! Also open for lunch and offer paninis in addition to crepes.

Any updates on this place? I just purchased a groupon for twenty bucks for fourth dollars worth of food and drink.

I like the ambiance, and the food is pretty good, but I usually find the service to be very slow.

I'm not for sure what you're looking for with this question seeing that you've already committed yourself with the groupon purchase, but I would love to know how you enjoyed your experience!

I'm looking for updated opinions on the restaurant. Maybe some favorite dishes, must order items. Antecdotal stories about experiences folks have had. That kind of thing. But once I go, I'll be sure to post here on my experience. Thanks much! Sal
