      Any farmers markets. My Albertsons had "Vidalia" onions that were grown in Oxnard... hmph.

        My local Gelson's in Los Feliz has them, so try calling the Gelson's in Marina del Rey.

          I see them at Trader Joe's in Silverlake but suspect they are at all Trader Joe's. Also, Gelson's.

            if you want sweet onions, Marina Farms has Vidalia's as well local if IIRC

                Good info, thanks.

                I've called around and nobody seems to carry "Maui" onions so I'll probably just end up buying whatever "sweet" onions are in stock.
