Regalade St Honore - Two Questions
Hi all, am travelling to Paris in the beginning of September with my husband and 4.5 year old son to spend some time with family. I'm hoping for one restaurant meal, and have chosen Regalade St Honore for lunch. My questions are: is it an appropriate set up for kids at lunch and will we have to pay for a prix-fix meal for him or will he be allowed to eat from our plates? We have taken him to the Four Seasons here in NYC so I know he can behave appropriately, but I don't want to upset people by bringing him somewhere he is not welcome, nor do I want to spend money on food he won't eat (3 courses is way too much food for him). Thanks!

I have seen young children in restaurants of this caliber in Paris and we were only there a month ago. When we dined at Regalade (the original location, not the St. Honore location) there was a family with two children and the younger child was probably around 7.
If you inform the restaurant ahead of time I'm sure they wouldn't protest. Actually, you may prefer making your reservation at the original location which seems to be a local, neighborhood oriented restaurant with a loyal clientele rather than the St. Honore location which, despite having the same menu, gives off a much more urban-yuppie-hip-upscale vibe, where children may be more out of place.
