Chocolate Covered Potato Chips?
Hey Guys!
I'm throwing together a gift basket for a friend of mine and wanted to get her something extra special since she's the ultimate chocoholic. I was wondering if anybody knows where to find some great chocolate covered potato chips? I've read previously there's a shop called Evelyn's that supposedly had the most divine choco-covered potato chips, but the shop has been closed down for about a year now. Any recommendations as per a place not super far from midtown east? Thanks!
Best I can do is a Cleveland candy shop. They do ship.

Granted, these aren't choc covered potato chips, but Trader Joe's carries "Milk Chocolate Crisps". They are "thin, curved waves of Belgian chocolate with crunchy bits." They look like Pringles. I'm taking them to a cookout, so I haven't tasted them as yet.

Thanks! I might give Dylan's Candy Bar a shot as well...I have a feeling it won't be too great of quality there though.

You might try Jacques Torres. I'm not sure if they do potato chips but I know they do fun things like corn flakes, candied ginger, cheerios, and other such things. Stop by or give them a call - maybe you'd find other things you'd like there too. (There are a couple of locations in Manhattan, the big "factory" type one is in Tribeca.)

Neuchatel does them in both milk and dark chocolate. The web site should be able to give you local addresses.
