Chinese delivery in Pasadena

We still haven't found a replacement for Grandview Palace (formerly Fair Oaks & California Blvd) for home delivery Chinese. We live close to Blair High School. Fu-Shing is excellent, but they're some distance away and their portions are a bit small when we're feeding a bunch of hungry teens.

Any recs? Thanks.

Maybe the Oak Tree Inn on Fair Oaks in South Pas?

Give Fortune Chinese Cuisine a try. It's located at Raymond and Union in Old Town Pasadena (626) 577-1888. We had about a dozen dishes delivered to our office earlier this year (for our Chinese New Year celebration). The delivery guy was the nicest ever and exactly on time. Everything was quite delicious, from the beef with broccoli to the shrimp with black bean sauce. Fortune makes its own soy sauce and they do not use MSG. Plus you can request white or brown rice. Prices are very reasonable. Happy eating! And please report back!

Absolutely second Fortune Chinese. I find the food tasty and well-made.........although it's not that really authentic stuff you get all over the San Gabriel Valley. The delivery process always goes smoothly from the call to order to the guy coming to the door in the time promised.

There's a second Grandview Palace in Pasadena; it's on Colorado between Altadena and San Gabriel, south side of the street. Tiny place, does a lot of take out. No idea how wide their delivery range, but they're where we go for decent - not great - but more than acceptable Chinese.

Thanks for these ideas. Didn't know there was another Grandview. That's perfect. I've eaten at Fortune Garden and liked it - esp their no MSG policy. They always seem empty whenever I walk by though. I'm glad they're still in biz. Will definitely give them a try.
