2 Good Spots in West Broward

Just wanted to let people know about a couple of great spots we found in West Broward. In Sunrise there's a great place called Bash Wine Cafe and Catering. It's off of University and Oakland Park Blvd. We've been there about 5 times and never had a bad meal. The wine list is small but the prices are great. Also, check out Kristof's Kafe in Davie, off of 84 and Pine Island. We've only been there twice but again both meals were great.

Both places offer homemade desserts that are simple but delicious. I'm not much of a writer/blogger and my descriptions of the food wouldn't do them justice, but I've had enough good and bad meals to know the good ones, and they're both great. I just want to get the word out because we only found them by chance. They're both in very nondescript spots in strip plazas, but they're the great "hole in the wall" local places that a lot of people are always looking for. Please give them a shot and let me know what you think!

  1. I've heard great things about Bash, but haven't tried it yet. I agree with the Kristof's recommendation, I go there often for breakfast and it's always very good. For those unsure of the location, it's in the plaza behind Scruby's barbecue and Azteca, which are visible from 84.
