Patacons!

I wanted to know if anyone has come across patacons in NYC. I have previously tried the patacons off the Patacon Pisao truck but Id rather not journey to Queens are way far uptown to get them. The sandwich itself is made with an assortment of meats with fried plantains in place of the bread and a secret sauce. It is delicious. Anyone know of other restaurants in NYC or BK that makes it?

I did a "find a food" search on Menupages for patacons and patacon and got two completely different lists of restaurants (mostly in Brooklyn). Is this more or less what you're looking for? Also, a restaurant name search pulled up Patacon Con Too, listed as being between 117th St. and 178th St., so good luck finding that one!

Even better than luck, you've helpfully linked the address + map. Might be farther than the OP wants to travel, though.

Well, I did note the address, and 4165 B'way is way closer to 178th St. than to 117th, so 117th is probably a typo and should read 177th, and...oh, the hell with it. I was just trying to liven up my dull-ish post.
