salmon at local costco

Hi, Sightseeing just for the day after a cruise, flying out from vancover to CA. I want to take home some salmon. I heard Costco may sell maybe smoked that I can take with me. Anyone who knows can you advise and also price per pound. Can't take fresh unless I can find dried ice.

The Costco downtown usually has smoked salmon packed in boxes -- it is our standby host gift when we travel. Urban Fare also has some, but you may be paying a premium. I don't recall the price per pound unfortunately.

May not be useful to you but Sakanaya has lovely smoked salmon, they pack for travel and are on Granville Street in Marpole on the way to the airport.
