Le Marais not serving dinner tonight?

Does anyone know anything about this? I just phoned for a reservation and was told that "the kitchen may be closing we don't know yet". Any idea what's happening?

Well, one obvious thing that's happening is the nine days. If reservations have dropped off significantly, then perhaps they're wondering whether it will be worth opening tonight, or whether they'd do better to take a day off.

No, they spoke about some problem with the kitchen, but wouldn't specify what it was, when I asked. If it was that they were simply closing early, I think that they would have said that.

It's possible they're taking advantage of a light night because of the nine days to do work in the kitchen. Of course, this is all speculation.
