Help....sushi tonight - Newton area?

We have an unexpected celebratory dinner tonight and want sushi, but don't want to travel far from Newton. Sushi 55 and Oiishi (chestnut hill) are closed on Mondays. I see mixed reviews for Aji in Newton Highlands, and last time I went to Sushi Man To Go it had gone downhill. Any recs? How about Green Tea? I haven't had their sushi.......

Thanks to all for the suggestions. We went to Super Fusion II and were very happy overall. The nigiri were oddly HUGE pieces of fish on small rice...a little awkward to eat but, hey, not complaining about generous servings. Some of the maki fell apart a bit, but everything was super fresh and nice flavor combos on the makis.

This is late for your post but I'll add Sapporo in Newton Centre and Sushi55 on Beacon by Whole Foods (haven't been there though).

Sushi55 closed on Mondays. It is very good, though!

I've enjoyed Shogun for years and years, but they're also closed on Monday. Super Fusion in Watertown is open on Mondays.

Not too horribly far down the road, but how about Oga's in Natick on Route 9? Definitely a splurge place for me, very high quality fish, and very creative.

We love Oga's, and it is a pretty quick drive from our digs in Waban. That might be the best bet for quality/convenience!

you can try New Ginza in Watertown. Their offerings are a bit limited compared to some places but the quality is not bad. or Daikanyama in Chestnut hill mall (inside Bloomingdales) has nicer ambiance and more cooked food selection.

I like Daikanyama a lot better than New Ginza which has fallen off significantly in the last 1-2 years (I believe there is a thread about it somewhere on here). Also, while not knock your socks off sushi, Shogun on Route 16 in West Newton (near The Local) is serviceable.
