Talk Italian to me...Scarpetta's or should we go somewhere else?
What's your favorite Italian restaurant in Vegas? We're have reservations at
Scarpettas' but haven't heard a lot of buzz....
Not that this is much help, but i looked at the menu at Scarpetta and decided we'll be going there on our final night in Vegas. We had booked L'Atelier but have been there 3 times so I thought Scarpetta might be a nice change, although I don't expect the food to be in the same category of L'Atelier. There are certainly lots of good reviews on foodie sites. I'm intrigued....
Just got back from Vegas and have to say that Scarpetta will not disappoint. That is as long as you order the short rib agnolotti. Truly an excellent dish. I've enjoyed Il Mulino in Vegas, but Scarpetta was a great dining experience from the bread basket to the agnolotti to the veal chop, I would recommend it. Enjoy.
Went to Scarpetta a couple of weeks ago for dinner - fantastic experience! Great service and really beautiful chic restaurant (a window table with a view of the fountains is always a good thing). For appetizers our group had: Heirloom Tomato Salad (simple but delicious), the Roasted Sea Scallops and two of us had the Braised Short Ribs with the Farro Risotto (a must!). Mains were: Spaghetti, Foie Gras Ravioli and the Sirloin with Gnocchi. All were fantastic and good sized portions. For dessert we shared an order of the Zeppole - perfection! I definitely look forward to eating there again when I head to Vegas this winter. You will not be disappointed!
We've been to Scarpetta in Beverly Hills twice and loved it. I would imagine that the LV iteration is equally great!
