Top 3 healthy dishes in Chicago?
Top 3 healthy dishes in Chicago?
I am always looking for more healthy options in Chicago!! Are you too? For those who have their top 3 favorite healthy restaurant dishes, could you share? For context, would be good if you shared your diet if you are on one.
I am not on a particular diet, but here are a few of my favs:
1) Nordstrom Cafe: Herb roast salmon
2) Wildfire: House bowl salad
3) Jason's Deli: Ranchero Wrap (without cheese)
What are yours??
Thanks for sharing!

I'm vegetarian and every now and then like to avoid a lot of oil and cheese, but still go out. Here are a few..
1. Macro plate at Heartland Cafe - brown rice, kale, mushroom gravy... so nutritious and cheap
2. Pho on Argyle, if you aren't doing low carb - clear broth with lost of boiled veggies
3. Tacos at El Pueblito - this is a teeny taco place but they are more traditional in that they don't load your tacos with a bunch of cheese and sour cream. You can order veggie ones off the menu or a shrimp one that's on it, and it's delicious and a much healthier taco

I can' t think of three off the top of my head. I'm on no carbs at the moment. When we dropped by Franks & Dawgs a while back, I thought I'd be drinking water, or a bunless dog (urg!). They had a brussel sprout salad, though, so I ordered that. It was delicious!!! Raw shaved BS, pistachios, and maybe some mint...
