I live in NYC and would love to get some of the delco cookies I had in LA many years ago. Please let me know of any bakeries that still make them. Thank you.

In Ohio (cleveland area) the best place to get them is Davis Bakery, where they are just known as "those cream cheese cookies." And if you want more of them than is "normal" on a cookie platter? You pay more.

And people do, they are that good!

Thank you, happybaker. I'm going to call Bea's and Davis and find out if they'll ship me some. Also see if I can interest a bakery in NYC in carrying them. They are amazing!

Any good Jewish bakery should carry them. I can't imagine them to be be just an L.A. thing. I LOVE then Delcos from a deli near me: Wieler's Deli www.weilersdeli.com
They have fruit, cinnamon, cheese, and chocolate. They're buttery, light, and so delectable. Maybe even better than Beas Bakery!

To my knowledge all the deli's in the SFV except Brent's do not bake so their sweet goodies and rye probably come from Delicious Bakery in Reseda or Bea's.
