Prune Brunch: Always good and comforting

It’s been a while … a long while and it shouldn’t have been. We just got back from a spur-of-the-moment brunch at Prune and thoroughly enjoyed our dishes of Spaghetti Carbonara and the excellent Fried Oyster Omelette. One of the best local restaurant at consistently delivering solid, comfort brunch for many years now.

  1. I hear such great things about Prune but every time I think of trying the place, I look at their menu and wonder why it's so popular - so far haven't seen anything I would like to eat there but I'll continue to keep an open mind...

As far as I can recall, the brunch menu hasn't changed since almost 2 years ago, the last time when we were there. Yet, we like them for what they are .... and so does a lot of people who I see braving the long wait for a table.

Gastro Travels, I know what you mean. The menu is oddly un-enticing. It just doesn't do the food justice. It's really worth a visit. I do especially love their brunch.
