Cape Cod near the bike path

I am heading to Cape Cod in August and will be spending a day riding the bike path. Any suggestions for snacking and lunch nearby the path, where biking attire would be appropriate?

Reporting back. We started in Harwich I believe and the Sparrow was a great spot for a refreshing drink, actually in both directions. Guapo had some of the best fish tacos I have ever had- so fresh and the lime sauce was delicious. We rode into Wellfleet and found Mac's on the pier for lunch- although getting there on a bike was worth your life. It was fun to sit in the sand and eat fried clam bellies and lobster rolls.

Thanks for the report back! Very much looking forward to trying the fish tacos at Guapos. The Mexican street corn sounds yummy too!

Fish tacos did not disappoint though I would have preferred grilled vs. battered fish. The lime sauce was amazing as was the pico de gallo with fresh August tomatoes. Also had the homemade guacamole which was excellent!

Depending where you are at lunchtime, the bike path goes right by the back of Arnolds in Eastham. Heading north on the bike path, it is right after the underpass, as you go under Rt. 6. Great fried seafood and soft serve ice cream. Not usually too packed at lunchtime. Also in N. Eastham is Friendly Fisherman, which I prefer to Arnolds. You have to get off the bike path at Brockett Road in N. Eastham and head less than a block up to Rt. 6. You can cut through the parking lots in back of the bank and by the bike rental and Thai restaurants, and Friendly Fisherman is right there. Best lobster roll on the Cape, IMHO, and fried seafood is tops. Skip their chowder, though.

I think the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans would be great for a sweet treat after a bike ride. The Frozen Mocha Sparrow is quite refreshing!

There's Ferretti's Market, right on the path in Harwich (???...help me somebody) and they make great sandwiches. As CCG says, there are many choices all along the way.

The bike path ends in Wellfleet right at PB Boulangerie, about which much has been written. Bike path ends in a small parking lot, proceed to the street, look across the street to your left, and there it is.

Isn't Ferretti's right near El Guapo's on the corner of Underpass Road and Rte 137 in Brewster? I believe it is.

It really depends on which part of the trail you plan on riding. El guapo is a great rec. You could also do Cobie,s if you want a clam shack type of place. It's just outside Nickerson State Park. If you are going the entire length from Dennis to Welfleet, there are many choices. Or if you take the southern spur, the Old colony rail trail to Chatham, the much heralded Hangar B Eatery is right on the trail.

Try El Guapo's in Brewster at 239 Underpass Road. Very bike friendly (right on the path actually)and good for lunch. The Chips and Guacamole were very popular the day we went.
