Nashville - Chinese Restaurant with Cold Sesame Noodles
I've been a Nashville resident for 7 years off and on and have yet to find a Chinese restaurant that offers decent cold sesame noodles on the menu - you know the kind with the thick, creamy peanut-ty sauce, cold julienned cucumbers, sesame seeds and sliced scallions on top?
Have I just not looked hard enough? Does anyone have a recommendation? I'm jonesing for a fix.
Thanks for the recommendations. We ran over to Golden Coast for a quick brunch today - I'd been during the week and was clueless on their weekend offerings. Loved the "peach buns" (steamed with red bean paste filling). Will keep my eyes open for a cold sesame noodle place until I get un-lazy enough to make it myself.
Good Chinese food unfortunately does not exist in Nashville. I've had friends tell they've had varying success @ Golden Coast's weekend buffet which offers authentic items.
I've yet to try it myself, but from the reviews Lucky Bamboo doesn't seem to be a good recommendation.
Driving to Atlanta would probably be your best option at this point.
