Minetta Tavern's Dodd Cocktail

This was a great cocktail I had at Minetta Tavern in NYC, and I would love to find out the recipe if anyone has it.

The ingredients are: bourbon, absinthe, lemon juice, peach bitters and egg whites. Sounds like a whiskey sour with absinthe and bitters. I might give it a try with no more than a few drops of absinthe, maybe using it as a rinse, but I'd love to know the real recipe.

    Here it is:

    The Dodd

    2 oz. bourbon (Basil Hayden's)
    3/4 oz. lemon juice
    3/4/ oz. agave syrup
    4 dashes peach bitters
    1/4 oz. absinthe
    1 egg white

Preshake all ingredients without ice, then add ice and shake.
Double or fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Twist a lemon peel over drink to spray with the oils, and discard lemon.

Sure thing, I know most NYC high end bartenders, and others around the country. I'm chair of the ed committee of the US bartenders guild NY. So I can usually get a recipe.

I'll see if I can get it.
